LAYERED TRANSPARENCY

This series of drawings is an exploration of transparency and invented visual space through a combination of layered drawing materials. There is a depth created with screen printed pattern, graphite and colored pencil, acrylic and enamel paint, as well as collage. Figures float upon the space as if in a dream, populating an “other” world as an intermediary simulation of fragmented memories of place.
